I’m Sonia — born under grey Polish skies, now tracing shadows through the dusky light of Australia since 2016.
Before I held the camera, I stood in front of it. Modelling taught me how to move, but it was behind the lens that I learned how to feel.
I’ve always been drawn to shadows, stillness, the softness between gestures. I don’t search for smiles. I look for something slower, something that lingers. A glance. The weight of a hand. The story in someone’s eyes before they speak.
I’m drawn to the forgotten, the weathered, the things that linger. Fog. Hands reaching mid-air. Eyes that say everything without sound. My photographs are not bright declarations. They are quiet poems. Gloomy, moody, sometimes heavy - but honest. I don’t chase perfection. I chase presence.
Nostalgia lives in my frames. A touch. A turned back. The way dusk folds over skin. I don’t ask you to perform joy — I ask you to feel.
I want you to see yourself and remember: even the softness of sadness can be beautiful. Even the fog can hold warmth.
If you're searching for photos that whisper, not shout — for something raw, cinematic, and reverent — I would be honoured to create with you.
